And again suffered from a mild heart attack in June 2012 and returned to work within a very short span of time, i.e., July, just after a month of the attack. In 2018, it was announced that Alex is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is in stage 4. He went through chemotherapy and was soon back to work!

Recently a complication was found in his treatment, and he had to restart his chemotherapy. On CTV, he told me that he has begun to get sores inside his mouth and stated that it is very difficult for him to enounce.

He also told that he could hear himself stammering on the show and claimed that he would continue hosting until his skills get diminished. Unfortunately, his contract with the popular show Jeopardy will be ended soon, and fans will miss him on the screen.

Let’s pray for his speedy recovery!!!
