The Kissing booth was Netflix’s most-watched teen flick in 2018. It is just as popular as To All the Boys I’ve Loved before. The film garnered a rather large fan following and was loved by teenagers all over the Netflix realm. To all the Boys I’ve Loved Before got a sequel that premiered earlier this year. The sequel was called To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. Naturally, this raised questions about The Kissing Booth – 2.

So, when will be getting The Kissing Booth – 2? Who can we expect to see in the film? Is there a trailer yet?

The Kissing Booth: Refresher

The Kissing Booth is a 2018 Netflix production. The film is a teen romantic comedy that is based on Beth Reekles’ Wattpad novel of the same name. The film follows the life of a quirky, late-blooming teenager, Elle, and her best friend, Lee. Things start to get complicated when Elle begins to have feelings for Lee’s older brother Noah, who is dubbed as the school bad-boy.

The film, although popular amongst audiences, received mostly negative reviews from critics. It was dubbed, cliched, and misogynistic. Ed Glauser, Andrew Cole-Bulgin, Vince Marcello, and Michele Weisler produced the film while Vince Marcello directed the film.

The Kissing Booth 2

Although it was unpopular with the critics, Netflix deemed it a commercial success because of how popular it was with fans. Subsequently, on February 14, 2019, Netflix announced a sequel for the film. It was announced that the film would be released in Spring 2020. The sequel is titled:

Unfortunately, there is no definite release date for The Kissing Booth – 2 yet. Consequently, a lot of speculations around the release date zero-in on May 2020, but nothing can be repeated. The shooting wrapped up in October 2019.

The Kissing Booth 2: Cast

Joey King and Jacob Elordi have been confirmed to reprise their roles as Elle and Noah. Joel Courtney will be returning as Lee as well. Netflix has confirmed that there are going to be some new faces in The Kissing Booth – 2. We can expect to see Maisie – Richardson Sellers and Taylor Perez.

However, we don’t know if Meganne Young, Bianca Bosch, Jessica Sutton, and Zandile – Izandi Madliwa will be returning for the sequel.
