Black Panther 2 AnnouncementÂ
Black Panther is one of the highest stand-alone marvel movies so far. Marvel Studios earned a grossing of $1 Billion worldwide. Now that movie produced such great results and gave hope for further versions. They can’t miss not having a sequel. Disney officially announced the sequel filming in progress at Disney’s D23 convention.
Black Panther Chadwick Boseman is Unhappy
Rumors are there that film will not be recorded at MCU, and Marvel Studio and Kevin Feige are planning to replace Black Panther in a female role, Shuri, which will be played by Letitia Wright.
Based on this claim, the original Black Panther seems unhappy about the replacement. However, Chadwick Boseman is already set to star in the upcoming Avenger 5 or New Avengers, which is filmed at MCU.
Producer Nate Moore earlier stated in 2018, “One thing I like to tell Ryan [Coogler] is, the Black Panther is a mantle as much as it is a person, so we’re not restricted by anything, because the truth is, there’s a lot of different ways to go back to Wakanda and have a good time and continue to explore the themes that made the first film so resonant.”
Further Role of Chadwick Boseman
2nd Movie will release on May 6, 2022. Ryan Coogler will write and direct the movie. It will be in a completely different Universe than in the first movie.
Considering his next role to be in Avengers 5, this will be his 6th appearance as the same character, which is more than the previous best Chris Evan’s Captain America.
With the news coming out, fans are starting to believe that Boseman is over as Black Panther. However, he may reprise his role as T’Challa in BP 2.
