Nicki Minaj had shocked her fans on 20th January 2020 by showing off her tied knot. She revealed to the world that she had married her boyfriend Kenneth Petty. Who also happens to possess a relatively extensive list in his criminal record.
Her relationship with a man would not have that controversial if he was not a repeated law offender. His criminal record ranges from rape to murder. He had forced an adolescent girl who was 16-years old in the year 1994. It has been reported that he had gripped a knife to her stomach while forcing down on her. Therefore, He was accused of attempted rape and served for four years in prison.
His relationship with the rapper goes way back. He was dating her when she was just 16-years old and Kenneth was 21-years old at that time. Minaj used to live in Queens, New York at that time.
His violent crimes did not end there. On April 27th, 2002, he had shot a man named Lamont Robinson. Petty had discharged a number of bullets before fleeing the scene. On his deathbed, Robinson who couldn’t speak had nodded for the picture of Kenneth. Thus, confirming his killer’s identity. We don’t know what strings did Kenneth pull but he was uncharged for manslaughter. He was sentenced for a 10 years period. Out of which, he served merely for 7 years.
