No Game No Life is based on a unique combination of genres like Isekai, fantasy, and science fiction. The first season of this show was released on April 9, 2014, and soon got popular amongst anime fans. As a result, a movie under the same franchise was also released on July 15, 2017. It was tiled, “ No Game No Life: Zero.”

The plot of No Game No Life revolves around a duo of step-siblings, Sora and Shiro, who are undefeated players of the gaming world and are called the Blank. Their life takes an unexpected turn when they are invited to live in an alternate reality, called the Disboard, after playing a match of chess against the God of that reality and end up emerging victorious. In order to be the ultimate gamers of all time, the siblings decide to take over the position of the God of games.
