Orange Is the New Black is created for television by Jenji Kohan. It has been adapted from Piper Kerman’s memoir, Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison. We haven’t received any confirmed news about a follow-up of the show. However, some Twitter and Reddit posts are circulating about a comeback of the series. The production team and writers have not revealed any news yet. We are researching and all ears so stay connected to learn about new developments.
About This Season!
The protagonist, Piper Chapman, a resident of upstate New York is sentenced to jail for fraud and money laundering. The accused is then transferred to Litchfield Penitentiary- a women’s federal prison. Subsequently, the series showcases her life in prison.
We are introduced to the inmates- their backgrounds, life in prison, family disruption, and present day struggles. Additionally, it shows Piper’s struggle to adapt to the new environment.
It deals with several topics- racial discrimination, immigration crisis, unjust system, homophobia, and patriarchy, obviously.

Release Date of Orange Is the New Black Season 8
Fans are excited for Season 8 of the series. Unfortunately, the showrunners have not confirmed any news about the sequel. However, most probably Netflix will be roped in again.
