When is Overlord Season 4 Coming?
Overlord’s highly anticipated Season 4 is all set to fall by 2020. Nearly two years after Overlord III aired in Summer 2018. To the delight of fans around the world. The anime staff announced Season 4 during Animagic in August 2019 through a German distributor.
What’s Overlord and why should you look at it?
Overlord an isekai (transported-to-another-world) story in which our protagonist reincarnates into a fantasy world as a villain. It manages to buck the trend of protagonists. Light novel who serves as mere self-insert devices and lacks their personalities.
Especially with the latest season, we had Ainz in full supervillain mode to overcome his rivals, and the show went on to another stage in the development of the characters.

No exact date has yet been announced but will be back in Spring 2020. Following the confirmation of Season 4, fans were waiting for more news but studio Madhouse tightly lipped with further details.
No trailer or new cast disclosed at the time of writing. It’s only in the run-up to the final release that we’re going to get a glimpse of what the new season will bring.
What’s next, in and beyond Season 4?
Season 3 saw Ainz begin his journey to join, wage wars, and fully establish himself as the Overlord titular. A barrage of fans ‘ criticism of bad CGI and the original author’s explicit dissatisfaction with the handling of Seasons 2 and 3 have cast some doubts on the Season 4 production.
As of now, the original Light Novel has translated nine volumes. Four additional volumes (excluding the bonus volume) until the anime catches up with the original. Based on how much they want to cover, viewers may end up with a single court season or a two court season.
The author himself has stated clearly that he wants to write about 20 volumes. Despite the inconsistent release schedule (the forthcoming release of the volume was again delayed), there is no certainty if and when audiences will be able to see the story end.
