Pensacola Shooting Update: 3 Civilians & 1 Shooter KILLED in Shooting At Naval Air Station Pensacola In Florida

UPDATE: Pensacola SHOOTER has been IDENTIFIED as Saudi Arabian National 

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) declared that an active shooter is dead following an incident at NAS Pensacola.

According to the authorities, the shooter was shot and killed by officials at the base around 7:45 a.m. on Friday. The active-shooter was firstly reported at 6:51 a.m.

NAS Pensacola declared that the shooting initiated at Building 633. ECSO told me that the incident spanned two floors. They added a total of four people, including the shooter, have been killed. The shooter and two victims were dead at the base. Another victim was taken to Baptist Hospital, where he too died.

No additional shooters are believed to involved in this incident.

According to the sheriff’s office, two officials were also shot and injured. The deputies suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

ECSO says a total of eight people were injured, including two of the officials. Baptist Hospital was on lockdown for safety precautions, but that lockdown has been now abolished.

Most of the injured were taken to Baptist Hospital, but West Florida Hospital confirms they are only treating one patient.

The base will be shut down until further official information. Officials are suggesting everyone to avoid accessing the area.

NAS Pensacola Corry Station was under lockdown for safety measures. But the gates are now open, and the lockdown has been abolished.

Captain Tim Kinsella revealed that NAS Pensacola would be removed. According to him, it might take a few hours before families are again together.
