Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to step back from duties of the Royal Family and will spend time in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Queen Elizabeth-2 agreed to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from royal duties and live a more independent life in the United Kingdom and Canada. Her Majesty did express her wish for the young couple to be full-time members of the Royal Family. Queen said that “ My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan Markle’s desire to create a new life as a young family, Harry and Meghan Markle have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has been therefore agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the couple will spend time in Canada and the United Kingdom.
No more Duke and Duchess of Sussex?
This news took the entire United Kingdom and the world by surprise as it was an unprecedented move. The couple announced their decision through social media and their new website. The royal family did not meet face to face to discuss it. Royals did not go for a face to face meeting as that would have taken weeks, and the couple wanted it to be done in a few days.
What occurred at the Meeting?
The meeting took place at Queen Elizabeth 2’s Sandringham estate in the east of England. The heir to the throne, Prince Charles, Prince Williams, attended the meeting, and the couple in question joined the meeting through the phone. The royal family needed to work an arrangement where Prince Harry and Meghan would continue to support the queen while also making efforts to become independent.

Tabloids and Newspapers in the United Kingdom have guessed that a rift may be the reason for this decision. Moreover, It has been confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan have decided to withdraw from the charity of Prince Williams and Kate and start their charity.
