Re: Zero Season 2 Release is Delayed due to CORONAVIRUS! [New] Release Date and More.

Re: Zero Life in a Different World, Anime series, which was supposed to release in April 2020, is now postponed due to the pandemic Coronavirus outbreak. Coronavirus is spreading everywhere, and it’s known to everyone that China is the epicenter of the disease. Following the pandemic, the production studio has decided to stop further work on the Anime.

Re: Zero Season 2 Official Announcement

The official website of the Re: Zero Anime series has announced the postponement on March 9, 2020, with the heading “Re: Life in a Different World from Zero” Announcement of Postponement of the Second Broadcasting Start.”

The announcement further says,

“Thank you very much for your great support for “Re: Life in a Different World from Zero.” The second phase of “Re: Life in a Different World from Zero,” which was scheduled to start broadcasting from April 2020, was produced by a new type of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), which is a global problem Since the schedule has been greatly affected, we have to postpone the broadcast start. Currently, we are planning to broadcast from July, so if the details of the broadcast date and time are decided, we will inform you again on the official website and official Twitter (@Rezero_official). We sincerely apologize to all the fans who are looking forward to their work for their concern and inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.”

Effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on Anime World

The pandemic has affected the nations on a massive scale. The production house, as well as the outsourced manpower, is unavailable due to the outbreak. It is also risky to continue, keeping the health of everyone in mind.

It has also affected Japan Anime work, including the cancellation of the AnimeJapan 2020 event.

The announcement has rescheduled the season from April to July now. Also, the songs “Realize” and “Moment”  will now release on August 26, 2020, and September 2, 2020, respectively.
