American web series Spinning Out had its first season released a day after this New Year’s Eve. Created by Samantha Stratton, the series premiered on Netflix on January 1, 2020.
The series stars Kaya Scodelario as Kat Baker, a young ice skater who suffers a severe head injury. Later she is offered the opportunity to restart her career as a pairs skater. But this comes at the cost of hiding her family’s history of mental illness. Justin Davis played by Evan Roderick, is her boy-partner in the pair skating. The series follows the Baker family along with Kat’s partner Justin and his family.
Spinning Out Season 2: Cancelled by Netflix

On February 19, 2020, Netflix reported that the show was cancelled. This was another blow for the watchers as Netflix has already cancelled many other shows this year. ‘The OA’, ‘Messiah’, ‘AJ and The Queen’, are the other shows to be dropped by Netflix.
The reasons for the cancellations of these shows are either the controversies created by them or are unknown. It is said that the low viewership of the show that it got is the reason for the cancellation. The show got a decent rating of 7.7 on IMDB, but a 63% from Rotten Tomatoes. There is an opportunity for the cancellation decision to be turned around. Still, however, there is a significantly higher possibility that Netflix is concentrating more on quality to amount.
Spinning Out Season 2: Expected Plot if The Season 2 Happens
In season 1, Kat has damage in her head when she was performing in a skating competition. After that, she left all her hope and even occupation.
However, Justin got in her life like hope. Justin turns her partner in a pair of skaters occupation. On this section, Kat once more regains all her ambition. When the first season finished, many questions have been left unanswered. As a result of the cancellation of the show, the viewers are not expected to get their answers.
