Based on the novel of the same name by Caleb Carr, The Alienist is an American period drama television series. This series consists of a total of 10 episodes when it was first aired on TNT on January 21, 2018. It came to an end on March 26, 2018.
The Alienist Season 2 Plot
Since there is no official announcement made about the release date of the show so there is no trailer yet released.
As we know that season 1 is based on the novel of the same name so now we are expecting that second season will be based on the original novel that is the “Angel of Darkness” which is again a sequel of the first one. In season 1 we have seen that the story revolves around a murderer who mysteriously kills the children wandering on the street. If we try to guess the plot of season 2 according to the story then the original team will again reunite suite for solving the case of the missing child which is a set in the year 1987.

The fans will be happy by knowing that the show is renewed for another 10 episodes. And the show is expected to come with its new season by May 2020. But there is no may official date announced.
