The Boys is an American superhero black comedy web series based on the comic book named The Boys by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The producer of the series is Hartley Gorenstein.
The series premiered on July 26, 2019, on Amazon. The series is about a group of superheroes The Seven who have become celebrities due to their power and lifestyle, and they are owned by Vought International.
Most of them are of unfair, rude, and arrogant behavior. On the other hand, The Boys is another vigilante group which is led by Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), who disliked The Seven who were led by arrogant leader Homelander(Antony Starr) and were on work to bring down the group of The Seven.
The Boys cast was as Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Capon as Frenchie, and Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Simon Pegg as Hugh Campbell and The Seven comprised Antony Starr as Homelander, Dominique McElligott as Queen Maeve, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir, and Erin Moriarty as Starlight.
The series had 8 episodes in its 1st season and had a huge viewership of 8 million in its first 10 days of release and if we talk about season two the season two was renewed before the release of season one on July 19, 2019, in Toronto, so we can expect its release by mid of the year, and all the episodes will be broadcasted on the same day on Amazon.
And some entry will also be in the series. Aya Cash is considered to be confirmed new entry. She will be entering as Stormfront role in the series who can fly at the supersonic speed.
Any confirmed released date is not yet announced, but Karl shared a memory that confirmed the wrap up of the series.
