The third installment of your beloved trilogy, The Kingkiller Chronicle, is going to be released soon. Patrick James Rothfuss writes the trilogy. The first book of this fantasy series is titled “The Name of the Wind” and was published on March 27, 2007. The second book is titled “The Wise Man’s Fear” and was released on March 1, 2011. Now, people are eagerly waiting for the third and final installment of the series, which is titled- “The Doors of Stone.”

The Doors of Stone: Theory of ‘The King Killer Chronicle’
The plot of this trilogy is set in a fantasy world of Temerant and revolves around a legendary hero, Kvothe. Kvothe talks about his life and adventures, also called Chronicler. The book is written from Kvothe, but there are some parts where we will see him interacting with the scribe, regarding the same. The books will give you an insight into the life of Kvothe.
Apart from being a fantasy novel, it will have a touch of romance as well. A part of the plot will focus on Kvothe’s love interest Denna.

The Doors of Stone: Things You Must Know
Well, as far as the plot of Doors of Stone is considered, not much can be said as of now yet because the series is famous for being highly unpredictable. But we can expect that the story will pick up from where it left in The Wise Man’s Fear.
Some fan theories suggest that in the third installment, Kvothe will meet his end. In simple words, he will die after being betrayed by Aaron. Probably Aaron will reveal his secret, and soldiers will come back for him. It is a theory. It may or may not be valid.
The Doors of Stone: Release Date
Patrick Rothfuss has yet not confirmed the release date, but we assure you that the book will release by the end of 2020. Initially, several rumors regarding different release dates were making the rounds, but at the end of the day, they were nothing more than just rumors.
