Craig Mazin, the creator of the Chernobyl series, is recently working in the production of The Last of Us. The series took its inspiration from a PlayStation game.
Craig Mazin showed his recent involvement with the writer and the creator of the game, Neil Druckmann. It is an excellent piece of information, for the first time a series got its origination from the PlayStation Production.

Craig Mazin stated in an interview, “Neil Druckmann is without question the finest storyteller working in the video game medium, and ‘The Last of Us’ is his magnum opus.” He also added to his statement, “Getting a chance to adapt this breathtaking work of art has been a dream of mine for years, and I’m so honored to do it in partnership with Neil.”
The Last of Us: Plot
The story revolves around a time when modern civilization has destroyed. In that time an only a hardened survivor Joel was hired to smuggle a fourteen-year-old girl Ellie. Both of them depend on each other for the utmost survival as they travel across the U.S. The journey becomes heartbreaking and brutal. They come across different troubles that could end the hope of survival.
The Naughty Boy is planning to launch the second sequel of the game The Last Of Us 2 this May.

Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming, commented on the project done, “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for us to partner with Craig, Neil, Carolyn, and the teams at Sony, Naughty Dog, and PlayStation to bring the virtual world of this acclaimed game to life.”
Mazin got high acclamations for his first TV project Chernobyl. It showcased the horrors of a Nuclear Disaster in 1986.
The Last Of Us launched in 2013 was a masterpiece game which sold around 20 million copies worldwide.
