After more than three decades, viewers will again attempt death-defying stunts with Lt Pete Maverick Mitchell.
Superbowl carried along with the new fast-paced. High-octane action movie teaser Top Gun: Maverick. Top Gun: Maverik is not a remake but a continuation rather than a prequel. Scenes of fighter planes conducting aerial stunts, bar brawls, and high-speed cars will include the original film sequel.
What happens to Top Gun 2?
The first film came out in 1986 and, despite getting mix reviews, did well at the box office. The film follows daredevil fighter pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise), who sent to Top Gun, a prestigious Naval Fighter Weapons School at Naval Station Miramar, along with his best friend Goose (Anthony Edwards).
At Top Gun, Maverick attracts instructors ‘ praise for his careless yet exceptional riding skills. Things take a turn after Maverick’s best friend and Wingman Goose killed because of Maverick’s reckless riding during a training exercise. While Maverick absolved of any responsibility for Goose’s death by an official inquiry, Maverick feels guilty.
What are we all aware of about Top Gun 2?
The video reveals that maverick is now a Top Gun coach, and apart from performing aerial stunts, he’ll be battling his Death of Goose shame. This time it will be tougher as he must teach Goose’s son Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller). Who has no confidence in his teacher and holds him responsible for the death of his father.
Apart from Tom Cruise, Maverick’s old rival, Iceman (Val Kilmer), will also be returning. Jennifer Conley will be Maverick’s new love interest. Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis), Maverick’s former love interest, will not appear.

Ode to a Pilots Fighter?
Most of the trailer’s aerial stunts were filmed using a camera and not recreated with special effects. The film may be an ode to the fighter pilots ‘ abilities, which are slowly fading away due to the drone warfare era.
