Netflix confirms that fans will get to see more romance between Elle and Noah.

One of the most rewatched movie on Netflix is coming of age teen romantic comedy Kissing Booth. Although the Movie failed to impress the critics nevertheless it became a commercial success for Netflix. The announcement of the sequel came by way of a video in which the two best friends can be seen constructing a booth whose banner reads out Kissing Booth 2.

Who will be Back?

Joey King (Elle Evans), Joel Courtney (Lee Flynn), Jacob Elrodi (Noah Flynn), and Molly Ringwald would reprise their roles. Two new actors, namely Maisie Richardson-Seller and Taylor Perez, will be joining the cast as Chloe and Marco. Two new additions are going to be the new love interests of Noah and Elle, respectively.


The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Beth Reekles. The movie follows witty teenager Elle Evans and her best friend, Lee Flynn. To ensure that their friendship lasts forever, two friends promise never to date each other’s relatives.

Their friendship is put to the test because Elle falls for Lee’s elder brother Noah, and they start dating. Regardless of that movie ends on a positive note with Noah moving to Harvard and Elle returning to High School in for her senior year.

Story-line of the Sequel

Filming of the sequel began in June 2019 and wrapped up in October 2019. In the sequel, Elle and Noah are in a long-distance relationship that comes with its challenges and issues. In addition to that, things may get more complicated in the sequel because Noah will meet the perfect college girl Chloe at Harvard. On the other hand Elle will make a new friend Marco.

Things will be more challenging for Elle as she has to work hard to get in her dream college with her friend Lee, learn to trust her boyfriend, manage the long-distance relationship and deal with romantic advances from her new friend Marco.

How will things turn out?

The movie is expected to be available for streaming sometime in May 2020.

It can be clearly said that Love will get more complicated in the sequel, and fans cannot wait to see how things will turn out.
