Amidst positive reviews for the anime, we can say that Vinland Saga was a big hit. Airing in July 2019, it was immensely popular amongst the target audience. Following this, Reviewers called it one of the best of the season, along with Kimetsu No Yaiba, Fire Force, and Demon Slayer. Now, speculations about Vinland Saga – Season 2 are on the rise.

An Introduction to Vinland Saga:
Vinland Saga is a historical Anime series that is based on a Japanese Manga of the same name. Makoto Yukimura has written and illustrated the animated series. Vinland Saga is set in 1013 AD England and focuses on the life and time of a Viking, Thorfinn.
It follows a revenge arc. This means that upon finding out that his father was murdered, Thorfinn vows to take revenge. He vows to kill Askellad, the mercenary leader who murdered his father. Zhubei Yahuta directs the anime, while Twin Engine, Production I.G, Wit Studio, and Kodansha, handle the production.
Following Season 1, what about Vinland Saga – Season 2?
On the whole, Vinland Saga – Season 1, was a hit. Season 1 had 2 amazing episodes that completely blew the viewers away. Considering all this, it seems very likely that there will be a season two.
And the speculations may actually be correct!
A respected source, anime news leaker Spytrue, claims that “Vinland Saga – Season 2 is in the pipeline.” This clearly means that the newest season might be in the works!
So, when can we expect Season 2?
Establishing that no official statements have been made about the same, we cannot actually say anything. But, it is extremely likely that the series will most likely air in 2021. It is expected to be released in April 2021, with production on the series already in the works.
