Virgin River is an American romantic drama Netflix series based on a bestselling romance book series by Robyn Carr. Its first season was a big hit on Netflix, which aired in December 2019. Now it’s been announced by Netflix that the second season for the series is confirmed, which is going to be in the ten-episode run.
Till now, no date is confirmed, but it is expected that the second season will be aired on Netflix by late 2020. Many of the fans have shared their happiness on twitter after listening to the news of the return of the series.
The plot of the series follows Melinda Monroe, a midwife and nurse practitioner in the remote California town of Virgin River, thinking it will be the perfect place to start fresh and leave her painful memories behind. But she soon discovers that small-town living isn’t quite as simple as she expected. To make that simple, she has to prepare herself for accepting the Virgin river as her home.
The series starred Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Jenny Cooper, Lauren Hammersley, Annette O’Toole, Tim Matheson in the previous season, and currently, there is an announcement for the cast of the second season.
