Ozark had a brilliant first season. And the second season of the show somehow succeeded in ramping up the drama even more. Marty had abandoned his plan to take his family and escape to Australia by the end of season two. An FBI agent had died and the Byrde family set to open their casino.

And naturally, fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of season three since season two ended in 2018. Netflix has finally revealed the season’s premiere date.

Ozark Season 3: Premier March 27

Netflix recently announced that Ozark’s season three will release on March 27, and the season will feature 10 episodes, as will the one and two seasons.

Season three Ozark’s plot picks up six months after the season two events.

Originally reported by Deadline the third season will follow the casino business of the family as it is now up and running. But even with the new venture proving successful, Marty and Wendy are starting to battle for control.

Wendy then becomes an ally of Attorney Helen and boss of the drug cartel, Omar Navarro, and she starts planning to expand on her own. But, as her little brother Ben comes to town, Wendy’s plans (and those of all others) are thrown into disarray.

Ozark Season 3: Cast

Bateman will be back as Marty Byrde. And the first episode of the season seems to have also been directed by him. The cast also includes Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner. As well as McKinley Belcher III among his returnees.

New full-time cast members include Tom Pelphrey and Jessica Frances Dukes. New recurring characters are Joseph Sikora and Felix Solis. Pelphrey will play Ben, the younger brother of Wendy. Solis will take on the role of Omar Navarro. Mexico’s second-largest drug cartel leader.

It’s undoubtedly one of the original dramas smash hit by Netflix. Keeping fans all over the world glued to their screens in the last few years. Ozark tells the story of the Byrde family. When they forced to flee to the Ozarks after a money-laundering operation in Chicago goes wrong but very quickly the world they end up going down into becomes even more complicated.
