When is ‘Lost in Space Season 3’ Release Date on Netflix, Plot, Cast & More

Danger, Robinson’s Will! Following the exploits of the hapless Robinson family, Netflix’s famous space reboot Lost has plunged viewers into the depths of space.

Adapted from the popular science fiction television series of the 1960s (which was itself a loose adaptation of The Swiss Family Robinson’s classic 1812 novel), Lost in Space stars Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, and Parker Posey.

The first season was released in April 2018 on Netflix, and for a second run, the series was quickly renewed. With its sophomore outing released on Christmas Eve, 2019, many wonder if it will bring back the quirky tale of space exploration and family.

When is The Next Season Going To Release?

Not so far. Typically, Netflix waits about a month after a season airs to confirm whether a show is being renewed or not, so it may be a little while before we find out.

Lost in Space focuses on the Robinson family’s adventures as they explore outer space–Maureen, John, and their three children. But, when an alien robot destroys their spaceship, they crash into a wormhole, and the Robinsons have to flee.

About Cast And Crew

Maureen Robinson, the matriarch of the house, is played in Deadwood and House of Cards by Molly Parker, the actress best known for her acclaimed roles. Toby Stephens, best known as the Bond villain in 2002’s Die Another Day, plays her husband, John.

However, to ruin their plan, they also have to deal with June Harris, a dangerous psychopath who poses as the virtuous Dr. Smith. The Darling of the 1990s indie scene Parker Posey (You’ve Got Mail), gives a wicked turn as the evil June Harris, with Maxwell Jenkins (Sense8), Taylor Russell (Waves; Escape Room) and Mina Sundwall (Freeheld; Maggie’s Plan) playing the three girls.
