First of all, what is Fire Force?
Fire Force is an anime that is based on Atsushi Okubo’s Manga of the same name. Yuki Yase directs the series while David Productions handles the production. The Manga follows the life of Shinra Kasukabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic youth. Shinra can set his feet on fire at will. As a result, he joins the Special Fire Force Company 8, which is an organization of pyrokinetic that aims to eliminate infernal attacks for good.
The anime follows the Manga accurately and through each of its arcs.
Coming to the real question, Fire Force – Season 2?
Will there be a season 2? Yes.
When is it releasing? Far sooner than you expect it to.
After the popularity of the first season, the production studio renewed the anime. It will be releasing in Japan in July 2020. Although the exact dates haven’t been released yet, official sources have confirmed this speculation.
What about the Production and the Cast of Fire Force Season 2?
David Productions animations Studio will be producing the anime while Yuki Yase will be directing it. Hideyuki Morika will be handling the character designs while scripting and storyboarding will be handled by Yamamoto Hiroshima.
The voice cast is expected to reprise their roles in the new season. This means that we can expect Gakuto Kajiwara, Yusuke Kobayashi, Kazuya Nakai, and Kenichi Suzumura to return.
What about the plotline?
Well, official statements declared that Fire Force season 2 would be a second chapter to the old season. It will be following the Manga, and the series will progress based on the newest chapters. The season will have 24 episodes, just like the previous season.
