Wonder woman first made her debut in Batman Vs. Superman in 2016 as the Mysterious Diana Prince. Later on, DC gave us a Wonder Woman movie in 2017, which was a massive hit in the cinema halls and made $821 million worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing movies of 2017.
In Wonder Woman 2017, we saw our Amazonian demi-goddess take on the God of War “Areas” himself, who (according to the comic books) was the perpetrator of the I World War. The movie ended in an epic battle between Areas and Wonder Woman, with Steve Trevor giving up his life to save countless others.
After the huge success of the first Wonder Woman film, DC Comics is giving fans a sequel. Initially, the movie was to be released on 12 August 2020 in Belgium, but due to the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, fans have to wait a bit longer for Wonder Woman 1984.
This time, Wonder Woman takes on her arch-nemesis “Cheetah,” played by Kristen Wiig. Barbara Ann Minerva or the “Cheetah” is Wonder Woman’s most popular nemesis along with Vandal Savage, Max Lord, and Dr. Psycho.
Moreover, it’s going to be really exciting to see Barbra Ann Minerva going up against Wonder Woman, as initially both of them were friends. Kristen Wiig’s performance as the Cheetah has been spoken of very highly by Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins.
Although we haven’t seen Kristen Wiig in a full feline form as the Cheetah but looking at the costume designs of the previous Wonder Woman movie, I am pretty sure that the Cheetah will have a stunning appearance on the big screens.
However, the online problem DC Comics faces right now is to reschedule the release date of Wonder Woman 1984. Fans are desperately eager to see Wonder Woman and the Cheetah go up against each other, but the compelling circumstances have forced everyone to wait……
