Black Panther 2 is scheduled to be released on July 8, 2022. The first installment of the film was released on February 16, 2018. The work on the sequel will tentatively begin in July 2021 in Atlanta.

Black Panther was a very popular Marvel Comic character. In 2018 a superhero film was made with the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Ryan Coogler directed the film. Panther 2 coming soon?

The Cast

Kevin Feige, Marvel President says Marvel won’t recast the T’Challa role originated by the beloved star, but the sequel is still on the way. After the death of Chadwick Boseman, the character of T’Challa will not be recast but that does not mean the film will not come back. To honor the dead actor’s legacy, the sequel will explore the world of Wakanda & the rich characters introduced in the first film.

Before the tragic news of Boseman’s death, it was expected that the sequel will star most of the same actors as in the first film. Unfortunately, the protagonist will be different in the new outing. Although most of the original cast will be back, with Martin Freeman who plays CIA agent, Everett Ross, and Danai Gurira who plays Okoye, head of the Dora Milaje. Both the actors have confirmed their return. Tenoch Huerta, Narcos: Mexico star may join the cast in Black Panther 2.
