A GT Entertainment production series directed by Kim Kyu-tae, It’s Okay, That’s Love was a show aired long back from July 2014 and consisted of 16 episodes. This South -Korean show is written by Noh Hee- Kyung was aired on SBS and is considered to be a melodramatic- romantic drama. The show gained a huge view from the audience, where some appreciated the plot while some responded critically to it. And any series which becomes popular makes us ponder on the only thought which is, Will the showrunners create It’s Okay, That’s Love Season 2?
It’s Okay, That’s Love Season 2: Release Date
The last episode was wrapped on September 11, 2014, and was one of the most-streamed series of that time. Even after so many years, the show is watched by a massive audience due to its huge acknowledgment and popularity. However, there seem no traces of a renewal of the series as the last episode summed up on a very clear end note. Therefore no official statement has been made by the showrunners of the show and the chances of the second season getting renewed are the least.
However, if the second season releases it might be done by the year 2022.
The Plot
An appreciated mystery writer who has a charismatic personality faces mental illness due to guilt pertaining inside his heart, the guilt of testifying him to have killed his father where the real criminal was his mother, is the protagonist of the plot. On the other side, the female lead of the story too has a similar story and they both meet on a talk and eventually end up falling for each other. This beautiful romantic story is a soothing plot through which the viewers could easily connect.
Not only the romantic plot but the portrayal of mental illness and its deep impact on humans is what this series also emphasized. Later we also see how the female protagonist finds out that the writer’s condition is more than worse as symptoms of schizophrenia were completely visible.
