Although over time, episode by episode this fantasy drama has gathered a decent viewership and rating of 96%. Live Up to Your Name Season 2 Plot
Heo Im is a doctor of Traditional cultural medicine, specializing in acupuncture(treatment involving needles). He works at a clinic for the poor. During daytime and earns a fortune by making secret visits to nobles and high-ranking officials’ houses at night.
After gaining recognition for his great skills, he got summoned by the king to help him with his migraines. Unfortunately, his anxiety got the best of him and he was charged with treason. Reluctant to accept jail, he tried to escape capture but was chased by soldiers. He was eventually cut off into a river and shot by arrows and fell to his death.
However, death never came and he awakened in modern Seoul-Korea and realizes he has somehow time traveled. Lost and confused, he runs into Choi Yeon-Kyung (Kim Ah-Joong), a cardiothoracic fellow surgeon at Shinhan Hospital, and began an unexpected relationship.
The Cast
Kim Nam-Gil played the actor of this drama, Heo I’m, a Joseon healer from 1592 who is famous for treating the poor in his clinic Haeminseo. On the other hand, Kim Ah-Joong played Choi Yeon-Kyung, a female surgeon at Shinhan hospital who is strict and obeys her principle as a doctor. She is presented as a logical woman who does her job with precision and is the lead actress in this drama.
Live Up to Your Name Season 2 Release date
