Solo Leveling Season 2 Release Date Confirmed by Author, is coming in 2021: Story Updates & More

After the very successful Season 1, Solo Leveling, the South-Korean web novel illustrated by Jang Sung-Rak is back with its second season, solo leveling season 2!

Solo Leveling Season 2: Storyline

The novel licensed in English as ‘I Only Level Up,’ connects us to a world full of monsters and mysterious creatures in solo leveling. However, there are certain people with the ability to hunt them, known as ‘hunters.’ Sung Jin-Woo, the lead protagonist, is one such hunter. He is, however, a very weak hunter with a very low rating of only ‘E.’

One day, Jin-Woo and some other hunters get trapped in a perilous dungeon. Out of them, only a few are able to get back to safety. Sung Jin-Woo, however, strives to survive and, in the end, escapes with new-found powers. These powers help him to see quests on an interface in solo leveling.

With the first season ending on March 17th, 2020, fans are eager to see the second season of this adventurous series. Since it has only been two months since the season-ending, we might need to wait a little more for Season 2. The production and filming are yet to start.

However, it has been confirmed that the series will be back for a second season!

As for Solo Leveling Season 2, the author of the series has confirmed that due to COVID-19 he has delayed the production of next. Due to which the Release Date has been pushed back to 2021. So all the Solo Leveling fans, you would have to wait for a while for the next installment to come.

Season 1 of Solo Leveling ends with Sung Jin-Woo opening a door and unleashing a monster. So, there are high chances that the second season revolves completely around Sung Jin-Woo. So we will be able to see the complete story of how Jin-Woo reaches the strongest ranking of ‘S’ from his old ranking, ‘E.’

The main characters of the solo levelling show, Jo Byung-Gyu, and GoJoon-hee, will surely be back for Season 2. Also, we know, Sung Jin-Woo has more chances to reappear in this season too. The second instalment of the series will also feature Jin-Woo’s father and King Ant, who are defeated by Jin-Woo.
