Full metal panic is a series of Ranobe written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Shiki, Douji. The series has been adapted by various media including four anime television series. The first came in by 2002 after that 2nd and 3rd came in 2003 and 2005 respectively and the 4th one premiered in April 2018. Tokyopop licensed the novels for English language publication in North America. On the other hand, ADV films licensed and dubbed the first season. Full Metal Panic Season 5 Plot
The genre of this renowned series is action, comedy, drama. The protagonist Kaname Chidori is a teen from modern Japan. But a paranoid military freak named Sousuke Sagara follows her around. Later on in her school, she gets kidnapped and taken to North Korea. Where she came to know that she is a whispered.
The whispered are genetically advanced, born with incredible knowledge of Mathematics, science, and have a higher IQ level. The weird freak Sousuke comes to rescue her, later on, Kaname gets enlightened that he is a trained officer of a secret military organization.

Those specialists are the sworn protector of the whispered from being misused by the terrorists. With this knowledge, she can return to her life thought that someone is out there to protect her.
The 4th season is premiered in 2018 and spite of the popularity of the show, a fifth season has not been announced as of now. But there is no need to be impatient it will be out soon as the anime industry is a very fast-growing industry.
