No one was as sad as Haikyuu fans when Season 4 was put on further hold due to the pandemic, even after its scheduled hiatus. But, now that the show is officially back “To the Top” of our weekly agenda list (pun intended), we still can’t believe it’s happening! Watching all the characters from Haikyuu grow as players and as individuals is such a wholesome experience. Regardless of whether you are a sports fan or not, you can’t help but fall in love with each of them as you get to know more about them. Haikyuu season 4 episode 16 to be released this weekend. Read below to know the exact date.
“KARASUNO FIGHT!” has become music to our ears; while our eyes are busy shedding happy tears whenever this slogan is heard. It’s become a regular feature to have this show come your way in the guise of a recommendation from a friend. This anime is an adaptation of the manga series created by Haruichi Furudate. We’d watched the previous 13 episodes of the first cour of Season 4 “To the Top” in April 2020, and now the second cour has returned in October. This half of the fourth season will be presenting 12 episodes, out of which two have already been aired. Scroll down to read more details about the upcoming 16th episode.
Haikyuu Season 4 Episode 16: Release Date
The upcoming Haikyuu season 4 episode 16 is titled “Broken Heart” and it will be aired on Friday, 16 October 2020. However, due to the differing time zones, this episode will be made available for the Indian audience on 17 October 2020 at 12:15 am (11:45 AM PDT, October 16).
On a side note, a lot of the viewers of the show have been quite disappointed with the animation style and visuals seen in Episode 15. Twitter was flooded by the show’s followers after the last episode since the diparity between the art style of the previous episodes and this one is hard to ignore. It looks like the quality of the character designs has indeed fallen down. Let’s hope that things get better in the future episodes.

Haikyuu Season 4 Episode 16: Storyline
Through Episode 15 we were able to witness how unpredictable the Miya twins are. It seemed like no one stood a chance against this combination. What came as an earth shattering revelation was the fact the the twins could mirror the famous quick attack executed by Hinata and Kageyama. The Karasuno Volleyball team was able to strike back eventually, but it still doesn’t change the fact that the twins are a force to be reckoned with. Competitive moments like this drive our favourite duo of “Kagehina” to the extremes, and they end up glaring at each other menacingly. The 16th episode will test their resistance and endurance. They have to work together to make it work, after all Karasuno has always been about team effort. We’re rooting for you Karasuno, as always! Karasuno Fight!
