Ikebukuro West Gate Park is a Japanese Anime series, produced by Doga Kobo and directed by Tomoaki Koshida. The show was supposed to come out in July 2020, but due to the Pandemic delays, it got shifted to October 6, 2020. The show has only aired 1 episode so far, the main character Makota talks to King also known as Takahashi, he brings a girl along with him named Mion, who The King reveals is related to the guy they just killed. Mion tells them about her mother’s condition and the King tasks Makota to gather a group of G-Boys to get her justice, which he readily agrees. He also orders him to ship the North Gate Towers

It does seem like the second season, will give us more clues about the murder of Mion’s mother,about what happened to her and also some hard hitting action sequences between Makato and the G-Boys and The North Gate Tower. Additional Details about Mion could also be revealed, like where is she coming from and what is her backstory.
Ikebukuro West Gate Park Cast
Until the first episode we only know few characters of the show which are, the three main characters are Makoto played by Kentaro Kumagai, Hiroto played by Subaru Kimura, Isogai played by Natsuki Hanae. Other cast members include Chiaki Kobayashi as Masaru Taniguchi, Ayumu Murase as Mitsuki Fujimoto, Tarusuke Shingaki as Minoru Tamotsu, Kensho Ono as Kuro, Ryohei Kimura as Saru, Junichi Suwabe as Zero-One, Kenjiro Tsuda as Shadow, Takahiro Sakurai as Reiichiro Yokoyama, Nobuyuki Hiyama as Yoshioka, Yuko Kaida as Makato’s mother. It’s hard to say which characters will be introduced for the next episode, probably Kentato Kumagai as Makoto.
