Carnival Row Season 2 is an American Neo-Noir Fantasy Television series created by Rene Echevarria and Travis Beacham. The series premiered way back on August 30, 2019. The show had eight episodes. Each with a runtime of 50-67 minutes. Today we are going to discuss the second season of Carnival Row.

Vignette Stonemoss escapes the land which was occupied by Pact soldiers with other fae-folk on a ship. However, a storm breaks out leaving Vignette the sole survivor. The ship belonged to Ezra Spunrose, he forces Vignette to work as indentured labor. She comes to know that her lover Philo is still alive via Tourmaline. Philo is now a police officer who is working as an investigator for attacks on fae-folk, he tries to catch the suspect. But the suspect before committing suicide, warns him that the “Dark God” is going to come. Philo buys Vignette’s contract from Ezra to free her. Vignette then joins the group Black Raven, a group that deals with contraband. In a flashback sequence, Philo reveals that he is a half-blood orphan who had his wings cut out to pass as a man. At the end of the show, Philo embraces his Fae heritage and resides with Vignette at Fae ghetto.

In July 2019, way before the start of the first season, Amazon had renewed the show for a second season. The production began at the beginning of the year but had to be halt due to the coronavirus pandemic. Orlando Bloom, the actor who plays Philo said in an interview with the collider that they were three weeks away from finishing the production when everything went awry. He also said that Amazon would be releasing five episodes that they have finished, and then they would add extra episodes once the remaining production work gets completed.

Carnival Row Season 2 Release Date
No release date officially has been announced so far for Carnival Row Season 2. But we can say that the first five episodes would release somewhere around early 2021 and the later episodes somewhere around late-2021.
