Bakemonogatari is the adaptation of the light novel and anime series by manga, which is written and illustrated by Oh! Great. This is based on the original story written by Nislo Isin and the character design is done by Vofan and Akio Watanabe. Till now, five e-books are released.  We will see when Bakemonogatari 6, will be available.

Bakemonogatari 6 Release Date

The ebook will be available on December 8, 2020. You can preorder your copies. The English version of the manga series shows the  Japanese characters being referenced alongside the English dialogue. This helps the other non-Japanese people to understand it easily and Nisio Isin’s wordplay from the novel is fully supported visually. This makes manga stand out from its source material.

The Characters

Hitagi Senjougahara, Koyomi Araragi,  Mayoi Hachikuji,Suruga Kanbaru,Nadeko Sengoku, Tsubasa Hanekawa, Shinobu Oshino, Sodachi Oikura, Ougi Oshino, and many more characters appear in the series. The manga is much similar to that of the light novels and anime, with some notable differences. Oh! Great’s art is simply superb and breathtaking. Each character is given a new look by Oh! Great.

The Storyline

In the first part of Bakemonogatari, we can see Koyomi Araragi, a high school senior and loner protagonist, once attacked by a vampire, continuously deals with supernatural beings called oddities. One day, his classmate Hitagi Senjougahara slips and falls down the stairs, and he catches her. While catching, he discovers that she has no weight. After suffering a trauma, and many serious medical conditions,  Senjougahara  had encountered a crab aberration. This had taken away her weight. Now Araragi is trying to help his classmate, to get back what she has lost.
