Kenja No Mago Season 2 is a much-awaited installment in the Kenja no Mago series. Right after the first season ended, the second season was highly expected due to its immense popularity.
Kenja no Mago is based on a manga series with the same name by Tsuyoshi Yoshioka. Ever since its launch in 2015, the series has published over 9 volumes. And in 2019, the books were serialized. The series narrates the tale of a man who dies in a car accident and is reborn again in another world. This new world is magical where he is named ‘Shin.’
Kenja No Mago Season 2: Release Date
It is very likely that Kenja no Mago will be renewed for another season as the novel has more parts to go. But so far, there has been no official declaration on renewal or the Kenja no Mago Season 2 release date. But considering the popularity and positive response from the audience, it will certainly be renewed. However, we do not expect it to be before 2021. You can watch the first season on Funimation.
Kenja No Mago Season 2: Plot
Kenja no Mago’s first season covered the first three volumes of the novel. So, we can safely assume that Kenja No Mago Season 2 would follow the events of volume 4.
The first season covered the death and rebirth of the salaried man. Merlin adopts the reborn man and teaches him witchcraft and martial arts. The season also showed Shin getting acquainted with the magical world. He also retains some of the memories of his former life. When Shin turns 15, Merlin enrolls him in a school.
