The movie Black Panther was released in 2018 and was an immense success. Fans were eagerly waiting for the second part of the movie. But the anticipation of the fans turned into heartbreak when the movie’s lead hero Chadwick Boseman passed away due to cancer in Summer 2020. Black Panther 2 was already announced in 2019, and several months after Boseman’s death, Marvel has confirmed that the second part of the movie will come out in a way that honors the legacy of the late actor.
Black Panther 2 Release Date
The second part of the movie is expected to hit the theatres by July 8, 2022. The earlier planned date was May 6, 2022.

The Cast
Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda, Winston Duke as M’Baku, and Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi, and Martin Freeman as CIA agent Everett K. Ross, are all expected to come back for Black Panther 2. Marvel has made it clear that, Boseman’s role will not be recasted , but instead the world of Wakanada and the rich characters introduced in the first film will be explored. The costumes used are of vibrant colors, in order to reflect different African cultures.
Black Panther 2 Plot
It is confirmed that Coogler is directing and also writing Black Panther sequel. In the first movie, we have seen that, a man who ingested metal vibranium has attained super human abilities and has become the first Black Panther. Panther is a super hero who is the leader in his country. The leader needs to be a warrior who can fight. We can expect a continuation of this , in Black Panther 2 also.
