Matrix 4 is the fourth installment in the Matrix franchise. It is a very popular science fiction action franchise. The movie will stream on HBO MAX in the USA.
The Matrix 4 Release Date
The Matrix 4 wasn’t meant to come out till 2022, but in a shocking move, it has now been preponed to December next year. The movie was announced back in August 2019 with Lana Wachowski writing and directing the new movie. Warner Brothers have officially announced that the movie will release on 22 December 2021, which will put the movie in competition with Spider-Man 3.

The Cast
Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are back as Neo and Trinity, despite both characters being dead at the end of The Matrix Revolutions. We have already seen the duo shoot for the film but nothing is known of their characters yet.
The cast will be joined by Daniel Bernhardt who will play Agent Johnson and Jada Pinkett Smith will be back as Niobe. Apparently, Lambert Wilson is also returning as The Merovingian, but it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
The Matrix 4 Plot
The original trilogy wrapped up the story of The Matrix. We can only guess what the fourth installment will have. Apparently, no one is gonna reveal anything about the upcoming movie. WE have to rely on theories like maybe the movie will see Trinity as the one or that they are all clones.
The screenplay will be co-written by the Lazarus Project author, Wachowski. Aleksandar Hemon and Cloud Atlas author David Mitchell, so you can expect a tense storyline.
