Another strong addition to the very popular Japanese Anime industry is Izetta: The Last Witch, a fantasy television series. The show is a mix of both action and fantasy for all the boring superhero fans wanting something different. Director Masaya Fujimori and writer Hiroyuki Yoshino have come together to deliver this exquisite piece of art. This anime series first released in 2016 and gathered a lot of attention in its very first season. The producer of the show is Ajia-do Animation Works, a 1978 company which is also the proud producer of a string of other successful animes. The first broadcast of the anime series took place between October 2016 to December the same year. Will Izetta: The Last Witch Season 2 come soon?
Release Date of Izetta: The Last Witch Season 2
The fans of Izetta: The Last Witch is really looking forward to a new season ever since the last episode of the series released. But there is no official word from the producers of the show. The Official Announcement
The Season 1 opening happened through the launch of a website for the series. This website was followed by a video release that gave the potential fans a chance to have a synopsis of what was to follow.
There are various rumors about Izetta: The Last Witch Season 2. Let us evaluate either of them and understand their credibility. There is a section of the show’s hardcore fan base that is hell-bent on getting a Season 2 and wouldn’t have it any other way. to understand this and those who say there won’t be a new season to the series, we must look at how the show ended.
There were hardly any open ends left to mend. The scenes show that the war ends and everybody returns to their regular peaceful lives. There is little left from here to say. Needless to mention here, the show is also not based on any manga or novel series, so that we could deduce the likelihood of the show returning.
Also, there is more thing that needs mentions. Since we are already in the fifth year since the last episode aired, there is not much honesty to say that Season 2 is hopeful. However, to add to it, there is no official announcement from the makers. They could spring a surprise and catch everybody unguarded. Whatever be the case, if Season 2 does happen, Herald Journalism is always there to update the fans of the anime about any new development and the release date for sure! So do not forget to say tuned for any news that there could be surrounding the show and its release.
The Storyline of Izetta: The Last Witch Season 2
The storyline of this show is more fantasy than action. Witches, of course! The story follows the life of a certain Izetta, a witch. Now the amount of hullabaloo about Izetta is because she is the last standing witch of her clan. This clan possesses the ability to transform through magic anything they touch into whatever they want. In the background, the imperialistic forces of Germania are planning an attack on the Alpine country of Eylstadt.
The country being pretty tiny in its size is easy to capture and that is what causes more tension in the situation. Izetta plans to save Princess Finé and the tiny kingdom as well as protect them from the unforeseeable future. There are a total of 12 episodes in Season 1 which contains the entire background of the series and the final climax.
Join Izetta in her journey to defeat the forces of Germania and save the nation that looks up to her as their savior!
