A Korean Odyssey, also known as Hwayugi, is a South Korean drama series written by Hong Sisters. It is a modern adaptation of the 16th-century classic Chinese novel titled “Journey to the West,” written by Wu Chueng’en. A few accidents that happened during the production arose controversies at that time, but no one can deny the show’s supremacy. The Storyline
The corrupt Monkey King Son Oh-gong is banished from his stature to the world of humans. The only way for him to go back is by approaching a woman who can see spirits. Things get further complicated as a curse makes things even difficult, and they have to fight evil spirits together, but eventually end up falling for each other. Will A Korean Odyssey Season 2 continue on this?
