Pearl Harbor, Hawaii: Security Forces, Hawaiian Police, and Emergency Medical Services are responding to an Active Shooter Call at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. According to JBPHH (Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam), a shooting incident was reported on Thursday after, at around 2:30 pm, the official twitter handle for JBPHH reported.

The JBPHH announcement stated, “JBPHH security forces have responded to a reported shooting at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. Due to the ongoing security incident, access/gates to are closed. We will update when we have further information.”

This Active Shooter Incident was also covered and confirmed by the base’s 15th Wing, which stated, “ALERT: There is an active shooter on base, please seek a secure location until further notice.”

Police and Security forces from the base are on the scene, along with Personnel from the Emergency Medical Services. They are currently looking for the Active Shooter.
