Akatsuki no Yona, a Japanese fantasy anime television series is revered by fans. It’s based on a manga series of the same name. The manga was published on 5 August 2009. The storyline is written and illustrated by Mizuho Kusanagi. Season 1 of the anime was released on 7 October 2014. The audience went crazy over the theme and it became an instant hit. The show was produced under Studio Pierrot. The first season consists of a total of 24 episodes. Subsequently, three OVAs were also released. However, there’s been no further news. About the Next Season!
The show is set in the fictional land of Kouka. It revolves around the life of Yona, the sole princess of the Kingdom of Kouka. The princess enjoys a leisurely and carefree life under her overprotective father and her bodyguard, Hak. However, all hell comes loose during her sixteenth birthday party. Her childhood friend and love interest, Su-won arrive and Yona introduces him to her father. There’s an ulterior motive of Su-won- he’s craving for the throne. Hence, he kills Yona’s father, the King. Hak comes to her rescue and together they escape to the Village of Wind. Akatsuki no Yona Season 2 will join the Plot from here?
Subsequent events lead the duo on a mission to find the descendants of the Four Dragon Warriors to put an end to Su-won’s tyranny.
