Akudama Drive is a Japanese Sci-fi anime series produced by Pierrot and Too Kyo Games. The show was originally scheduled for a July release which was postponed due to the pandemic. It has finally come our way to entertain us in October and we’re already approaching Akudama Drive Episode 3. The excitement is only going to build up from here onwards and we can’t stay calm.
The visuals of the anime are very gratifying and are likened to that of movies with the cyberpunk aesthetic like “The Blade Runner”. Viewers who favor such art styles plus the dystopian genre will surely love this latest release of 2020. Unlike the majority of animes, this one is a story in itself since it hasn’t been adapted from a pre-existing novel series or otherwise. The series has rather birthed a manga adaptation that is being written currently.

Akudama Drive Episode 3 Release Date Announcement
Get ready because Akudama Drive is going to be released on 22 October 2020. The episode titled “Mission: Impossible” will explore the track followed by the Akudama after their escape from the raid, which leads them to “Black Cat” where they take refuge. This episode has been directed by Hikaru Murata. The last episode came out on 15 October 2020. The series will terminate after a total of 12 episodes that will be aired on a weekly basis. Akudama Drive Episode 3 Storyline
The Civil War within Japan separated the country into two halves called Kansai and Kanto, wherein the former started relying on the latter. The lack of a fully functioning police force in Kansai causes criminals to run amok in the streets, who have come to be known as the “Akudama”. The government finds it hard to keep them under lock and key.
The first two episodes of Akudama Drive are already on Funimation and AnimeLab. Akudama Drive Episode 3 will also be released there.
