Read on to find out.
About Angel Beats Season 2
Angel Beats! is a Japanese fantasy anime series produced by P.A. Works and Aniplex. It was directed by Seiji Keshi. The first season of the series came out in April 2010. The critics of the show had noted that the short run time of the show held back the development of many characters. This could’ve been enough to birth a second season, however, it has been a decade since then and there is still no news of Season 2.
The Official Announcement
It is quite unlikely that the show will be renewed for Season 2 despite its short run. We can hope for a special OVA episode to be released in the future but nothing can be ascertained at the moment. We will notify you as soon as possible if there is any change.
Angel Beats Season 2 Release Date
The first season of Angel Beats finished airing in June 2010 and was followed by 2 OVA episodes in December 2010 and 2015 respectively. Since there is no news about the renewal of the second season, nothing can be said about its release date either. The future of Angel Beats is in the dark for now.

The Storyline
This unique story brings you to a high school set in the Afterlife where the people must come to terms with their traumatic past before moving on to the further stage of being reincarnated. A boy suffering from amnesia, named Yuzuru Otonashi, upon reaching the afterlife meets Yuri Nakamura who invites him to Shindai Sekai Sensen or Afterlife Battlefront. This organization confronts God for having presented them with their harsh reality and therefore considers the student council president, Angel, their nemesis since he is a representative of God.
This otherwise profound theme similar to the literary classic “Paradise Lost” is bombarded with several elements from disparate genres like Musicals, Comedy, Slice of Life and Action.
The first season of Angel Beats is streaming online on Netflix and Crunchyroll.
