Madoka Magica Season 2 finally Confirmed? Madoka Magica is a Japanese anime series created by Magica Quartet (a collaborative association of director Akiyuki Shinbo, screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, original character designer Ume Aoki, and producer Atsuhiro Iwakami). The first season of the show received a high rating of 8.3 on IMDb and is greatly missed by its fans who are looking forward to Season 2.

The first season consisting of ten episodes were broadcasted in January 2011 on TBS and MBS. The series thereafter inspired several other content like video games, mangas, spin-off mangas, anime films, and even a novelization.

The good news of the renewal of the second season of Madoka Magica was broken out by the official sources on 28 March 2020 on their Twitter account. Season 2 is in fact in development and will be released soon.

Although the new season is definitely confirmed, we still have no news regarding its release date. The creators of the show have dropped the “Coming Soon” label that has done nothing but escalates our excitement level.

The Storyline
Madoka Kaname is a middle school student who one day comes face to face with a creature named Kyubey. It assures her to fulfill one of her wishes on the condition that she joins the magical girl squad who combat witches. The puzzled Madoka is unable to make up her mind about this so she is helped by Mami Tomoe, a senior at the school who also happens to be another magical girl. Mami takes Madoka and her friend Sayaka Miki to her witch hunts, which help Madoka weigh the burden and psychological ride that comes along with being a magical girl. Madoka Magica Season 2 will be continuing from here?
