Despite currently having 148 episodes in total and 380 manga chapters, the series is far away from being over. Writer Togashi Mangaka didn’t exactly get the time to work on the series due to a health condition that he was suffering from, but the series is not over yet! Togashi Mangaka has said in a few recent interviews that he will be giving the anime a “proper” ending.

After Togashi’s statement, it’s safe to assume that Hunter X Hunter will come back with another season.
