Will there be a Bad Guys Season 3?
Netflix gave the much-deserved limelight to the South Korean TV series, Bad Guys. Directed by Hang Dong-Hwa, the series landed on Netflix in 2019 to be released worldwide. Now, fans are awaiting Bad Guys Season 3!
What is the Series About?
Bad Guys narrates the story of a detective, Oh Gu-Tak, who teams with three convicts. Together, they protect the locality from crime and violence which have taken a surge. This team is known as Bad Guys. Kim Jung Min directed it for OCN, and Han Jung-hoon was the creator.
Kim Sang-Joon plays the role of Detective Oh Gu-Tak. Ma Dong-Seok is Pak Un-Cheol, a convicted mob boss in the series. Whereas, Park Hae-jin is Lee Jung-moon, the youngest Mensa member and a psychopath serial killer.
Jo Dong-hyuk plays Jung Tae-soo who is a contract killer. Meanwhile, Kang Ye-won plays Yoo Mi-young, a cop, and Kang Shin-il plays the role of Nam Gu-Hyeon.
Bad Guys Season 2 has a different cast. No actors from Season 1 retain their role. The lead role of Woo Je-mun is played by Park Joong-hoon. Joo Jin-moo stars are Heo Il-hoo who used to be a violent mobster. Meanwhile, Jang Sun-Cheol, a psychopathic investigator, is played by Yang Ik-June. No Jin-Pyeong is played by Kim Mu-Yeol. Han Gang-Joo, a revenge seeker, is portrayed by Ji Soo.
As of now, we cannot be sure if Season 3 will star the same actors or not. But we expect most of the actors to retain their roles.
Bad Guys Season 2 concluded with the group encountering another similar group. The third season might bring together the two teams from the first and second seasons.
Bad Guys Season 3 Release Date
Bad Guys second season premiered in August 2019 on Netflix. No declaration has been issued by OCN or Netflix about the third season. In September 2019, a spinoff movie, Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos was released. We can expect the Bad Guys Season 3 in 2021 if it is renewed.
