MGM finds new a writer and Micheal B. Jordan will step in the ring
Hollywood gives good news to Boxing fans as Creed 3 moves ahead with the production. Creed released in 2015 is an extension of the hit Rocky franchise. Micheal B. Jordan is the main protagonist who portrays Adonis Creed.
Creed and Creed 2?
For a long time, it was felt that the Rocky franchise had been concluded, and there is nothing more to tell. However, Director Rylan Coogler surprised everyone with Creed. The rocky franchise took a new turn in Creed.
The 2015 movie follows junior Creed as he trains to become a boxer. In addition to that, he convinces former heavyweight champion Rocky played by Sylvester Stallone, to train him. Creed was a commercial and critical hit.
Creed 2 outperformed its predecessor on the Box-Office. Micheal B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone reprise their role to take on Victor Drago, son of Ivan Drago. Ivan Drago had killed Apollo Creed in the ring.
Moreover, Sylvestor Stallone announced that this would be his last appearance as Rocky. The good performance of the sequel convinced the production house to continue with the story of Adonis Creed. Steven Caple Jr. directed Creed 2. Juel Taylor and Sylvester Stallone wrote the script.
A New Writer for Creed 3?
The latest report confirms that the writer of the movie King Richard Zach Baylin will pen the script for Creed 3. Production House is yet to find a director for the third installment. Steven Caple may return as the director, but nothing is confirmed. Moreover, the Plot of the movie is undecided, but plenty of options available to the writer.
The third installment will likely show Adonis is balancing his growing family and fighting career without Rocky. In addition to that, Tessa Thompson, who portrays Bianca, a singer, and girlfriend of Creed, is expected to return. Fans are hopeful that Sylvester Stallone will return as Rocky.
