Demon Slayer is a popular anime under the genre of “adventure and dark fantasy.” The anime series’s first season ended, with its season 2 set to be released in 2020. The series is an adaptation of the compilation of Japanese manga based on a story of a younger boy Tanjirō Kamado. Who then transforms straight into a demon slayer after a demon slaughter caused him to misplace his entire household.
As a result, Tanjirō Kamado is the demon slayer that stands for the film series title. The Ufotable personnel assigned the anime with scripts by Haruo Sotozaki. The music is composed by Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina and animation director is Akira Matsushima.
Hikaru Kondo is the producer.[4] Lisa conducts the introductory theme “Gurenge” (almost), while FictionJunction performs the concluding theme “from the edge.”
The series ran for 26 episodes, adapting the manga from the start of the first volume to the seventh chapter. The first five episodes were screened in Japan for two weeks from March 29,2019, under the title Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kyōdai no Kizuna (Kyōdai no Kizuna) The film was screened by Aniplex of America at the Aratani Theater in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. The film was screened by Madman Entertainment and AnimeLab on April 2, 2019, in select theaters in Australia.
It was announced in July 2019 that the English dub would debut on the Toonami block of Adult Swim. On October 12, 2019, the English dub premiered. As mentioned during the last episode’s final scene, a sequel film, which is an iteration of the “Infinite Train Arc” was greenlit and is projected to premiere on October 16, 2020, with the staff and cast taking over their roles.
Currently, no official announcement regarding the second season of the anime has been released by the production center, but it is highly possible that fans will be able to see the second season sometime around this year. I guess, for now, all we can do is sit and wait for our favorite anime’s sequel to come out.
