There has been news that this part is going to begin after the 15 years after Dying Light, and the new leader will be introduced named Aiden Caldwell. In this game, the players will be able to perform more actions like climbing ledges, sliding, and wall running. Tools like grappling hook and paraglider will also be available in the city.

In, Dying Light 2, the fighting will be majorly done with melee weapons. And some long-range weapons will be like crossbows, shotguns, and spears. And just like first part zombies will slow down in the sunlight while they will become more aggressive at night. There have been some new zombies added to the game.
