Fable 4 saw months of rumors and speculative theories until Microsoft declared the release of the fourth part and it’s named ‘Fable’. The trailer for this fantasy RPG was launched on July 23 and promised us a lot of British humor.
Fable 4 Official Release Date
It was confirmed that Fable 4 would make it to the Xbox Series X games list. However, there has been no official release date and it’s unlikely that we will see it during the 2020 holiday season.
Net Developer
Playground Games would now be heading the development of Fable. The same studio produced the Forza Horizon series. A recent Fable 4 leak disclosed that major changes have been made to the gameplay, themes, and the game might occur o several planets and may include time travel.
The teaser showed all the familiar RPG Fable setup with fairies and swords. Here is a glimpse of the teaser.
Fable could be an MMO
A tweet by French Journalist @CronoTK gave rise to rumors about Fable being an MMO set in the fantasy world rather than an RPG game.
Apparently, Albion was destroyed by an asteroid collision. Thanks to a Mad King that wished for its destruction from Tattered Spire (the tower from Fable 2 that granted its builder a wish). So now it might be up to the players to save Albion by traveling back into time.
Meanwhile, Guild and Theresa are hiding on some other planet that players can reach through a demon door. But you can choose not to access it and ignore the main quest. Players can create their own towns in the open world and it gets tied to the main quest.
Fable on Xbox
And there are no guns in Fable 4. Additionally, Fable is a multiplayer which is being made in Unreal Engine. Fable is making its return on Xbox. The new installment will follow cues from previous games. Fable 4 will be an action RPG centered around the story and characters.
