‘Gleipnir’ marked itself as one of the epic anime of this season. Its characters were not likable, its premise appeared too humdrum. Also, it’s visuals were not for the weak-hearted. But as the season goes and forwards further, the horror anime managed to accumulate a pretty huge fanbase with its portrayal of the macabre yet intriguing adventures of two unusual high school kids. And seeing the popularity of season 1 creator might be thinking of making Gleipnir Season 2.
Gleipnir Season 2 Storyline
After the unconcluded finish of the first season and considering the story that lies ahead in the successive two volumes of the manga, season 2 will start will Shuichi, Claire, and Tadanori Sanbe setting out to the smash site of the outsider(alien) ship which causes all this chaos on their planet.
However, the journey towards it won’t be easy. On their way through, they’ll face two guardians, one of whom, will be a sword-wielding warrior while the other will be a peculiar girl who absorbs enigmatic abilities from reptiles. Will Gleipnir Season 2 coming soon?
While this conflict of battle will be very hard and challenging, they’ll later encounter Kaito who can utilize his abilities to bring the deceived ones back to life. As a result, conquering Kaito’s army of the dead will be impossible.
The Official Announcement
For now, due to a lack of source material content, it seems improbable that Gleipnir Season 2 will be resumed anytime shortly. Although it is one of the most popular anime of this season, it presumably won’t be renewed until its manga releases with at least three more volumes. Anticipating that these three new volumes will be released by the end of the year 2021, we can still anticipate that Season 2 to be released sometime around the year 2022.
The Cast
The major cast and staff of the series will return for Gleipnir Season 2. Natsuki Hanae‘s voice for Shuichi Kagaya, while Nao Toyama voice Clair Aoki and Shizuka Ishigami voice for Hikawa and Kana Hanazawa provided the voice over for Elena Aoki and Miku Ito voice for Nana Mifune and Most of the Cast is expected to return for Season 2.

There is no official confirmation of season 2 out till far. However, after the eminence of anime, we’d be amazed if there isn’t a Gleipnir Season 2. Gleipnir is one of the most popular anime of this season so far. It probably would not be resumed until its manga comes out with at least three volumes.
It is secured to be said that the Gleipnir Season 2 release date could be as late as 2022. We really can’t anticipate another Gleipnir season in the year 2021 spring anime schedule. Thinking that these three new volumes will be released by the end of 2021. We can accept that Season 2 will release around July 2022.
