God eater Season 2 face and upcoming anime TV series based on a video game under the same name. Takayuki Hirao and Kei Tsunematsu wrote this series. Produced by Ufotable under the direction of Takayuki Hirao.
God Eater Season 2 Plot
The series plot in a post-apocalyptic future. The humanity of this world was nearly destroyed by the human-eating Monsters, Aragami. Aragami’s are hard to defeat by normal weapons.
A company, Fenrir researched and found that the Aragami can be killed by biological components called Oracle cells. Fenrir made some specialized weapons, God Arcs, using Oracle cells. Additionally, they infused human beings with Oracle cells, God eaters. Fenrir kept improving God arcs and made some new types of God Arcs.
Lenka Utsugi, the protagonist is a God Eater, armed with a new type of God arc. Lenka took the responsibility to defeat all the Aragamis at once. However, it was not an easy task for him to kill all the Aragamis at once. But he has to complete his responsibility at any cost.
However, season 2 can have Lenka Utsugi with an all-new character along with Lindow and Shio. This season will be exciting than the previous season.
The Official Announcements
The creators haven’t made any official announcements regarding season 2. But this upcoming season tends to be back with some new characters or some new God arcs. These new additions will give the season a new twist.

God Eater Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 was to be released in late 2019 but, it was delayed because of some unknown reasons. We can receive the official announcements about the release anytime soon maybe on the God eater video games 10th anniversary or mid-2021.

However, the creators have not released an official trailer for season 2. But we can expect it to release anytime soon. But, definitely, season 2 will be back will some new twists.
